James Le Fenu - Daily Telegraph
Doctor's Diary - 27th April 2004 reports:
"...The 83 year old Oxfordshire lady's request for a remedy
to protect her paper thin skin from developing festering wounds
on the slightest impact has fallen on fertile ground. A Surrey reader
whose wife is similarly afflicted ("even the slightest tap
on the wrist produces a blood filled blister") reports that
an allergy consultant, noticing the state of her skin, advised her
to take a small dose of Vitamin E daily, together with 1.500 gms
of Evening Primrose Oil. Now, a year later, there is, he reports,
a marked improvement and she has been able to start wearing her
bracelets again.
By near universal consensus, honey offers the best chance of healing
those wounds and ulcers once they have occurred; the medicinal New
Zealand Manuka variety is particularly recommended. This is also
an opportunity to mention, once again, the redoubtable Mrs Grant
from Dumfriesshire who, although no longer in her "early years",
imports Neem Oil from India and makes it up into a wonder balm whose
near miraculous healing properties many attest to. She can be contacted
on 01387 860234"

three young children I can't do without Ekoneem Wonderbalm, it is
known as "magic ointment" in our family and comes out
for every single minor fall, cut, bruise and skinned knee."
